Kansas City boy gets thrill of first airplane ride


A Kansas City youngster took his first airplane flight on Thursday, Aug. 20, 2015, through the Experimental Aircraft Association's Young Eagles program. Jedidiah Huskey, 12, waved at his dad in a follow plane during a flight with stunt pilot Sean D. Tucker, who is in town for the Kansas City Aviation Expo and Air Show at the Wheeler Downtown Airport. Nearly 2 million kids have been introduced to flight through the program which began in 1992.
