Viewers expecting KSHB 41 News early Thursday got a different lineup after a power outage and technical difficulties disrupted the station’s broadcast, KSHB said.

“We’re working through a power outage and some technical issues this morning that are affecting the broadcast,” KSHB said on X shortly after 6 a.m. “Our team is working to resolve the issue. We appreciate your patience.”

The tweet followed an earlier one that alerted viewers that KSHB 41 News at 4:30 a.m. was not airing.

“You can find the latest news and weather right now at kshb.com,” the TV station said.

Crews were working to resolve the issues, KSHB said in a programming note on its website. The TV station said it would update viewers when it knew more about when the issues would be resolved.

Meanwhile, viewers instead saw the “Today” show.
