Which Kansas City-area roads, highways, intersections do you hate? Let us know
OK Kansas City, let’s vent. What’s that one road you dread to drive on whenever it appears on your route?
With the FIFA World Cup in town this summer, people from around the world are experiencing what it's like to drive in Kansas City. But from the looks of social media, some Kansas Citians don’t even like driving here at times.
One TikTok user, who was going south on Interstate 670 toward Wichita, said the highway is so scary that it “needs to be for full-coverage drivers only.”
For me, every time I go on that highway, my GPS tends to let me know where my exit is after I already missed it.
A Reddit user mentioned the intersection of Westport Road with Southwest Trafficway and 43rd Street, also known as the “Westport Triangle.” RideKC describes this intersection as complex, due to having multiple traffic signals, heavy traffic, and constrained geometry.
