Flights under $200? Here are 5 cities you can travel to from Kansas City
Prices are rising everywhere, including domestic flights out of Kansas City International Airport.
A recent U.S ticket price study from Deustche Bank showed that airfare has jumped up between 15% and 124%. Jet fuel prices doubled in the span of less than three months this year after the U.S. and Israel attacked Iran, but now they are at their lowest price since the attacks, sitting at $2.80 per gallon, according to tracking firm Argus.
Spirit Airlines also no longer exists, eliminating a budget airline that took Kansas City travelers to vacation destinations like Nashville, Las Vegas and Miami through nonstop flights.
