Overland Park police search for missing woman last seen leaving hospital
The Overland Park Police Department is asking for the public’s help finding a woman who went missing Thursday night.
Andrea May, 50, was last seen around 7 p.m. Thursday leaving the area of Menorah Medical Center at W. 119th St and Nall Avenue.
May was experiencing a mental health crisis and walked away from her mother’s vehicle, leaving the area heading southeast, according to a news release.
May is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weights approximately 170 pounds. She was last seen walking without shoes.
The news release said May’s mother told police she has no other friends or family in the area, and she is concerned for her safety.
