In the ever-crazy — and weird — world of gender reveals, this is one of the cutest we’ve seen.

Royals first baseman Vinnie Pasquantino and his wife, Ryann Pasquantino, announced Wednesday they are expecting their first child.

“Baby Pasquantino coming this fall,” the couple wrote on their joint Instagram announcement. They posed with Ryann’s sonogram pics and shared a video of the gender reveal — with the family dog.

They gave him a small cake iced with the words “Baby Pasquantino is ...”

Then they let him chomp down.

“Come on Bear ... come on Bear you can do it,” the baseballer urged the dog as it got caught up licking the icing and wouldn’t chomp down.

Then finally, he took a mouthful revealing that the cake inside was blue.

“Baby Pasquatch! Congratulations to you both!” the Royals wrote on the couple’s Instagram announcement.

“Omg a baby bean,” Starbucks chimed in.

Maggie Witt, wife of Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr., led a litany of congratulations from other player wives. “Screaming, crying, throwing up all over again,” she wrote.

“Scream and shout the Pasquantinos are having a babyyyyyy!!” wrote Tori Ragans, wife of pitcher Cole Ragans.

This baby boy is going to have a nickname for sure.

“MINNIE VINNIEEEEE!!!! Cant wait to meet this baby boy!!!!!!!!” wrote Jane Massey, wife of second baseman Michael Massey.

The Pasquantinos got married in December 2023. He got down on one knee in September 2022 and proposed in Loose Park after the final home game of the season.

The Pasquantinos were college sweethearts and student athletes at Old Dominion University where he played baseball and she played soccer.

There’s been quite a bumper crop of babies born in the Royals family over the last couple of seasons with at least six players’ families welcoming little ones.
