Dallas-Kansas City flights canceled as storms roll through Texas
A handful of flights through Kansas City International Airport were canceled Tuesday after storms halted trips in and out of Dallas, Texas.
As of early afternoon Tuesday, Kansas City International’s flight status board showed one flight out of Dallas Fort Worth International Airport had been canceled and two flights out of Dallas Love Field Airport had been canceled. One departing flight to Dallas Fort Worth was canceled.
A ground stop at the Dallas Fort Worth airport was because of thunderstorms, according to the Federal Aviation Administration’s airport status board.
The flight tracking website FlightAware reported 339 flights had been canceled at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and 55 cancellations at Dallas Love Field.
