Melting Pot restaurant hosting benefit for funeral cost of JJ’s worker
A former employer of Megan Cramer, the woman killed in the Feb. 19 explosion at JJ’s restaurant, will hold a benefit at its Country Club Plaza restaurant on Sunday to help her family pay funeral costs.
Before becoming a server at JJ’s last fall, Cramer waited tables about 10 years at The Melting Pot, 450 Ward Parkway.
From 4 to 10:30 p.m., the restaurant will serve a four-course dinner and glass of wine and donate the profits to the Cramer family. There will also be a silent auction until 8 p.m.
