Police say woman missing from east KC neighborhood is found safe

Police say a woman who went missing Thursday afternoon in Kansas City’s Eastwood Hills East neighborhood has since been found safe.
The 65-year-old woman was last seen around 2:30 p.m. near East 55th Street and Wallace Avenue. Family was unable to locate her and reported her missing to police.
The Kansas City Police Department reported Friday night that she has since been found safe.
Anyone with information about missing persons is urged to contact the 911 or the KCPD Missing Person’s Unit at 816-234-5043.
