Bobby Witt Jr. and Chris Jones have made the Hallmark cut this year: They will be collectible Keepsake Ornaments.

The Royals star shortstop and Chiefs defensive tackle are among hundreds of new Keepsake ornaments revealed to the general public on Friday in Hallmark’s 2026 Dream Book. The book is available now in Hallmark Gold Crown stores, and downloadable at Hallmark.com.

Hallmark went live on social media Friday from its Kansas City headquarters, featuring employees who helped create the ornaments. They were whipping up excitement as collectors began building their wish lists.

“It’s Dream Book Release Day, which is basically like a mini Christmas for us ornament lovers!” the company posted on its Facebook page. “We can’t wait for you to see our new collection of 450+ ornaments!”

The Dream Book gives eager ornament collectors their first look at each year’s new Keepsakes, which start becoming available for purchase each July.

This is the first Keepsake Ornament for both players, according to Hallmark, though Kansas City Royals star Witt had a Hallmark bobblehead ornament that was not part of the limited-quantity Keepsake line.

The new mini-Witt is shown in a batting stance. The Jones ornament, wearing the Chiefs’ red uniform, looks like he’s just wrapped up a great third-down sack.

Each will cost $28.99 and be available with the first group of ornaments released during the Keepsake Ornaments premiere event, July 11-19.

A second round of new offerings will become available during Keepsake Ornament debut days Oct. 10-18, the kickoff of the holiday shopping season.

Witt’s ornament is revealed as the Royals enter into a partnership with Hallmark to build a new stadium on the grounds of the company’s headquarters in Crown Center.

Jones joins Chiefs teammates Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce as others who have been miniaturized as Hallmark Keepsakes.

One of the new ornaments getting early love also has a Kansas City connection. It’s an ornament of Tyler Hynes, one of the stars of the Chiefs Hallmark Christmas movie, “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story,” filmed in Kansas City in July 2024.

Hynes is just the second Hallmark Channel fan favorite to get his own ornament.
