12-year-old girl missing from Kansas City since Saturday found safe, police say
A 12-year-old girl last seen in south Kansas City Saturday evening has been found safe, according to the Kansas City Police Department.
Investigators were previously seeking the public’s assistance to locate 12-year-old Lyric English, who was last seen Saturday around 6 p.m. in the area of Gregory Boulevard and U.S. 71., according to Sgt. Phillip DiMartino, a spokesperson for the Kansas City Police Department.
Lyric is Black with brown hair and brown eyes, DiMartino said. She is 4 feet, 11 inches tall, and weighs around 80 pounds.
Investigators believed Lyric was traveling on foot, DiMartino said. She was last seen wearing a white tank top, purple basketball shorts and black Crocs shoes.
