Detailed Lego recreation gives fans a new way to experience the Big 12 Tournament
If you don’t feel like checking out the Big 12 Tournament festivities at the T-Mobile Center, there’s always the Lego version to check out instead.
Master model builder Logan G recreated the T-Mobile Center and the atmosphere outside the arena into a Lego display. The model features two basketball players on top of the arena, and fans lined up to catch a tournament game. The two ballers are underneath a hoop that says “MARCH CRAZINESS.”
The set also captures the Big 12 fan fest outside the T-Mobile Center on Grand Boulevard, showing fans dunking, concerts and people enjoying the downtown Kansas City vibes. If you look closely, you can see a street car stop near the festivities.
Fans who want to see the Lego set in person can find it at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Kansas City in Crown Center. The set will be on display until March 22.
The last day of the Men’s Big 12 basketball tournament is March 14. Last week, the West Virginia women’s basketball team defeated TCU to win the women’s tournament at the T-Mobile Center.
