A viral coffee shop by luxury brand will open its first Midwest location in KC
A third Coach location is opening this year in the Kansas City area, and this one is coming with a coffee shop.
The new Coach will open in the Town Center in Leawood, 5000 W. 119th St., next to Evereve, according to a Federal Realty Investment Trust news release.
Coach, the popular leather brand, sells bags, backpacks, clothing, shoes and bag accessories. The brand’s popularity has soared amongst Gen Z in recent years due to their affordability, high-quality leather and their styles like the Tabby, Brooklyn, Empire and archived silhouettes going viral, according to Forbes.
The Coach coffee shop in Leawood will be one of just a few locations in the U.S. It will serve hot coffee and sweet treats, some in the shape of their bags, according to their website. Other locations are in New Jersey, New York and Texas and have generated thousands of Instagram posts with their aesthetic drinks.
An exact date has not been announced, but an employee at another Coach locations said it’s expected to open sometime in the fall.
Other Coach locations are inside the Oak Park Mall and at the Plaza. There is also a Coach outlet store at the Tanger Kansas City at Legends.
