Looking for cheap clothes? Here are 6 KC-area thrift shops to check out

The art of thrifting has become more popular in recent years for younger people, whether they’re looking for cool knick-knacks for their home or throwback vintage wear.

There’s also those who may go to thrift stores because they need secondhand merchandise at a lower price. Some thrift stores are nonprofit organizations, which give back to their local community through the store.

There are plenty of thrift stores across Kansas City, with some being unique to Missouri, while others you can find across the country. Here are a few options of places to go thrifting in the area, or places for you to donate items you don’t want anymore.
