Biker gang member pleads guilty in Blue Springs assault of rival gang member
A Tennessee man and alleged motorcycle gang member pleaded guilty to several assault related charges for his role in a September 2022 assault and shooting of a rival gang member in Blue Springs, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney of the Western District of Missouri.
Graham S. Gattis, allegedly a member of the Los Valerosos Motorcycle Gang, a support club for the Pagan’s Motorcycle Gang, pleaded guilty in federal court on Thursday to one count of assault with a dangerous weapon in aid of racketeering, and one count of possession of a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence.
On Sept. 17, 2022, Gattis, also known as “Dro,” and other members of the Pagan’s and Los Valerosos allegedly chased and forced a rival gang member off of U.S. Highway 40 in Blue Springs. Several members of the Pagan’s and Los Valerosos were armed with firearms and at least one axe handle, authorities said.
Gattis and the others allegedly confronted a Bandidos Motorcycle Club member on the side of the roadway. The victim was shot seven times, with wounds to his knee, thigh, forearm, biceps, buttocks and back of his leg. Gattis was also driven to the hospital with gunshot wounds to both legs, according to court documents.
Gattis is one of several gang members who pleaded guilty to charges related to this incident. He could face a prison sentence of at least five years and up to life in federal prison without parole.
