Kansas City said goodbye to a lot of restaurants in 2025, but it also welcomed in a lot of new ones into the area.
More than 50 restaurants opened their doors throughout the year, from local chefs creating new concepts to national chains widening their reach across the United States. A steakhouse from local athletes, Mexican restaurants, pizza shops, create-your-own sandwich shops and more touched down in Kansas City, adding to a robust restaurant scene in the metropolitan area.
