Missing Kansas City man found dead in south Kansas City, police say
A man who was reported missing over the weekend in Kansas City has been found dead.
Eduardo Vargas Guerrero, 57, was last seen Saturday morning in the 7300 block of Harrison Street, according to Alayna Gonzalez, spokesperson for the Kansas City Police Department.
His family told police they were concerned for his safety and feared he may need immediate medical assistance.
Police announced Sunday evening that Guerrero was found dead outdoors in south Kansas City near 75th Street and 71 Highway. There were no apparent signs of foul play.
The case has switched to a death investigation, which is ongoing.
