It’s been over six months since 26-year-old Mariah Cockshell was last seen. Police in Gladstone, where she lived, still have hope she will be found, but say they need the public’s help to locate her.
Cockshell was last seen around 3 a.m. on March 22 in the area of East 54th Street and Prospect Avenue in Kansas City. She had recently left work and was last ween wearing a pink sweatshirt and black scrub pants, according to Sgt. Sabrina Skourtis with the Gladstone Police Department.
Cockshell is described as being 5’1” and 150 lbs with black hair and hazel eyes.
Skourtis said police have worked about 100 leads in the investigation, and believe there are people who have information but are afraid to come forward.
“Her family is asking for help,” she said. “ I would implore them to reach out, to just to think about if this was your own family member, to be able to help them to bring her home.”
Cockshell’s family has also made pleas to the public on social media, hoping someone comes forward.
