Missing Carrollton siblings found safe after investigation, police say

Three children who went missing in Missouri this week have been found safe, the Carrollton Police Department said.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol issued an endangered person advisory for three children missing from Carrollton on July 15. They have all been found safe after an investigation involving multiple law enforcement agencies.

The children went missing after non-custodial parents failed to relinquish them to the Missouri Department of Social Services Children’s Division following a court order and left the county, according to the press release.

Police were seeking the children’s non-custodial parents, Naomi and Justin McCaffery, in relation to the incident, according to a press release.

The children have since been taken into protective custody, according to the Carrollton Police Department.
