American Royal barbecue tickets go on sale Friday

Tickets for the American Royal’s World Series of Barbecue go on sale at 9 a.m. Friday through Ticketmaster.

The event is Oct. 1-4. This year, for the first time, it will be at Arrowhead Stadium.

Single-day tickets are $15 and weekend tickets, good for both Friday and Saturday, are $25. Other ticket options are available.

Tickets for the VIP Pit, with food and beverage, are $75 per day and are available at ticketsforless.

Parking for Friday and Saturday is $20 each day.

The American Royal Parade, which is also moving to the Truman Sports Complex, will be at 10 a.m. Oct. 3.
