Update: Amari L. James has been found, according to a family member.

Kansas City, Kansas, police are seeking assistance locating a 22-year-old last seen heading toward the city, according to a news release from Police Department Officer T.J. Tomasic.

Amari L. James, 22, was last seen around 11 p.m. June 17 near Raymore, according to the news release.

James was driving a white 2012 Honda Civic with “a possible” Missouri license plate, according to the news release.

James was last seen near Dawn Street in Raymore and was possibly headed to the Suntree Plaza Apartments in Kansas City, Kansas, according to the news release.

James is Black, around 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 170 lbs, according to the news release. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who may have seen James or knows his whereabouts is encouraged to call KC Crime Stoppers at 816-474-8477. All tips remain anonymous.
