Pedestrian killed on K-10 identified

A man struck and killed by a vehicle on Kansas 10 in Johnson County Tuesday has been identified as 19-year-old Hunter Cade Robinson of Lawrence.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Robinson stepped into the highway’s westbound lanes for an unknown reason and was struck by a Chevrolet Malibu driven by a 42-year-old Gardner woman.

The incident occurred just east of Cedar Creek Parkway. The driver of the Malibu was not injured, but a passenger in her car was taken to a hospital to be evaluated for a possible injury.
