Video: Watch Eric Stonestreet when wife gives him wrong answer in Big Slick game show
A recent addition to Big Slick weekend events has been the Family Feud-Big Slick Edition! game show that is part of the Friday entertainment for Children’s Mercy Hospital employees.
The show looks and is played nearly the same as the popular television game show “Family Feud.” Contestants for the Big Slick Edition are the celebrities who come to Kansas City to be part of the weekend’s Big Slick activities.
This year’s rendition of Family Feud took on a family element that made for good comedy when “Modern Family” star and Kansas City-area native Eric Stonestreet had a chance to steal the game from Jason Sudeikis’ team if his team could guess the 6th most popular ice cream flavor chosen by the audience.
The game had turned into a bit of a free-for-all when Sudeikis’ team was seemingly taking answers shouted out by the audience before they used up all of their choices and the turn moved to Stonestreet’s team.
All Stonestreet’s team had to do to win the game was guess the final flavor of ice cream the audience named as one of their favorites. Stonestreet contemplated giving “cotton candy” as the team’s choice but looked out into the audience and asked his wife Lindsay Schweitzer what flavor he should name. She recommended “birthday cake.” Stonestreet went with Schweitzer’s answer which he relayed to the game’s host.
Watch the video to see what happened once the answer was revealed.
