See what Lee’s Summit City Council members will discuss in Tuesday meeting
The Lee’s Summit City Council is meeting on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. at the city council chambers at 220 SE Green Street.

The agenda can be found online ahead of the meeting. This week’s meeting will include a vote to formally pass the city’s 2025-2026 budget, which previously passed its first vote unanimously.
Members of the public who want to comment on any agenda item or speak during any public hearing item should email the office of the Lee’s Summit City Clerk at clerk@cityofls.net by 5 p.m. Monday.
Among other items, councilmembers on Tuesday will discuss:
Strengthening liquor laws by adding licensing requirements into the city code of ordinance
Adopting a new hazard mitigation plan for the fire department and other emergency services
Passing separate budgets for the fire department and municipal courts
Council members will also review ordinances related to five planned developments in Lee’s Summit, including an automotive repair facility and an apartment complex.
