Nine Zero One Rooftop Bar & Lounge
Nine Zero One Rooftop Bar is located atop The Fontaine Hotel and boasts 360 views of the Sunset Hills. The venue has indoor and outdoor seating, two private dining rooms, and a bar and pool area with cabanas that can be rented in the spring and summer months. In the winter, patrons can enjoy an igloo dining experience.
The bar has house cocktails like Moscow mules and espresso martini and signature cocktails like the Purple Pea-Ple Eater or the Puerto Rican Sunset. The bar also has a variety of craft and draft beers and a decent-sized red, white and sparkling wine list.

Brick House KC is located in Union Hill and is known for its casual vibe and canned beer selection. They have a large outdoor patio equipped with Bocce Ball, bags, large Jenga and Connect Four, and live music every Friday during happy hours from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Looking for brunch? On Saturday and Sunday, bottomless mimosas are served from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Prime Social
Located on the 16th floor of 46 Penn Center on the Country Club Plaza is a lively midcentury modern rooftop spot to enjoy drinks, catch up or watch a game. With cocktails like Summer Fling, The Ma’Homes, local craft beers, and sharable plates including hand-rolled sushi, A5 Wagyu, Ahi tuna, unique pizzas, and decadent dips, this is more than ready to have a spot on your bucket list this summer.

Electric Park Garden Bar
The Electric Park Garden on the grounds of the historic J. Rieger & Co. distillery in Kansas City has 11,000 square feet of open-air patio and an adjoining atrium. Catch live music every Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and hang around the fire pits or the swing set table.
The menus were inspired by the original Electric Park amusement park that opened in the East Bottoms in 1899, like Route Sixty Spritz, which is vodka, raspberry, lemon and sparkling wine. But it is not just for adults; the bar also has a kids’ menu that includes cheeseburgers and chicken tenders so the whole family can come.

Panther’s Place
Panther’s Place is a tropical-themed cocktail bar and patio in the West Side neighborhood off Southwest Boulevard. Originally a personal hangout for owner Ryan Gale, the bar is now filled with plants, cocktails and people from 6 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. on most Fridays and Saturdays unless its Instagram account says otherwise.

Up-Down KC is an arcade bar in the Crossroads District, offering over 50 classic arcade games, including pinball machines, skeeball alleys, and console games like Nintendo 64, each costing 25 cents. Located in the Crossroads Hotel, the rooftop beer garden is known for its stunning 360-degree city skyline views. Reservations are available for groups, but walk-ins are also welcome.

Horsefeather Social is located on the seventh floor of the Loews Kansas City hotel. The bar has comfortable seating, fire pits and an open event lawn, providing scenic views of downtown Kansas City and the Kauffman Performing Arts Center.
