Man dies of injuries nearly a month after motorcycle crash in KC
A man died following complications from injuries he suffered in a motorcycle crash last month near the Front Street-Interstate 435 interchange, Kansas City police said Friday.
The crash happened April 12, and the motorcycle rider was taken to an area hospital in critical condition, said Sgt. Phil DiMartino, a spokesman for the Kansas City Police Department.
Police were notified Friday by the Jackson County Medical Examiner’s Office that the man had died from “complications of multiple blunt traumatic injuries.”
The man was identified as Christopher Tibbitts.
DiMartino said an investigation into the crash is ongoing.
