Elderly man found safe after going missing from Grandview late at night, police say

Floyd Jack. 79, is missing after he left his residence at 5711 East 139 Terrace in Grandview around 3 a.m. Tuesday, police said. Jack is approximately 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs around 200 pounds. He has gray hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and black and red pajama pants.

The Grandview Police Department canceled a missing person advisory for an elderly man who left his residence overnight, police said.

Floyd Jack, 79, is found safe after he had left his residence at East 139 Terrace in Grandview around 3 a.m. Tuesday, according to a news release. Jack has a medical condition which put him at risk.

At 8:24 a.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol released an advisory saying Jack was safe.
