Pedestrian dies after being struck by vehicle in Kansas City, Kansas, Friday evening
A pedestrian is dead in Kansas City, Kansas, after being struck by a vehicle Friday evening.
The pedestrian was walking west in the westbound lane in the 5700 block of Georgia Ave. around 6:45 p.m., according to a Kansas City, Kansas Police Department news release.
The driver remained at the scene; the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
This incident is being investigated by the police department’s Traffic Division. Anyone with information on the case is urged to call the Crime Stoppers TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
