Looking for a new job? You might consider these 18 highly rated employers in the Kansas City area.

Forbes released their lists of best large and midsize employers for 2025 on Feb. 12. For the last 10 years, the financial publication has ranked employers using a nationwide survey. This year they received more than 217,000 responses. Respondents were asked if they would recommend their employer to others, and to rate it on salary, work environment, training programs and opportunities to advance.

A total of 1,199 companies were ranked: 701 on the large employers list and 498 on the midsize businesses list.

Kansas City-based Hallmark was one of 77 companies that has appeared on the Forbes ranking all 10 years, earning it a Best Employer Icon recognition.
