Before kickoff of the Chiefs-Texans showdown on Saturday in Kansas City, Brooke Shields shared a photo of herself on the way to the game with Donna Kelce.

The two-time Golden Globe nominee, and famous wearer of Calvin Klein jeans, even wore a red Chiefs coat.

Who knew Shields was a Chiefs fan?

Actually, Shields and a group of other Hollywood VIPs came to Kansas City for serious business.

They are participating in a campaign called THRIVE@50+, which encourages women over 50 to learn about their risk for shingles. Kelce is participating in the campaign.

The group was scheduled to eat lunch together in downtown Kansas City before heading to GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

Kelce hosted the lunch for a notable guest list that included Food Network chef Alex Guarnaschelli, “Suits” star Gina Torres, actress/singer Roselyn Sanchez, “Golden Bachelor” contestant Susan Noles and several social media influencers.

It wasn’t clear early in the game whether Shields and the others had a chance to meet up with Arrowhead’s resident VIP — Taylor Swift, who is dating Kelce’s son, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

Shields attended one of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour shows in Toronto in November with her adult daughters, where they watched from the VIP section with Andrea Swift, Taylor’s mom.

Shields spoke glowingly of the night in a recent podcast interview, saying mama Swift gave one of her daughters a bracelet right off her wrist.

Deep into her Spokeswoman Era, 72-year-old Kelce also works with home shopping channel QVC in a campaign celebrating women over 50. She is a member of QVC’s “Quintessential 50” panel of celebrities — including Martha Stewart — activists, entrepreneurs and QVC hosts.

For the Thrive@50+ campaign, sponsored by pharmaceutical company GSK, Kelce has become educated about shingles, a painful, blistering rash that happens most often in people 50 and older and can disrupt a person’s regular life for weeks.

Ninety-nine percent of adults over 50 have the virus that causes shingles in their bodies, though not everyone will develop it.

For this visit to Kansas City that mixed business with pleasure, Shields wore a red Chiefs coat from the new Offseason Brand by NFL wife Kristin Juszczyk, who went viral last year when she made customized coats for Swift and Brittany Mahomes.

It appeared Shields wore a No. 15 Mahomes coat.
