Some Kansas City metro schools extend virtual, snow days to Thursday. Check the list

Several school districts in the Kansas City metro have extended their closures and virtual days into Thursday, after a blizzard swept through the area over the weekend. Some are sighting unsafe residential roads, as snow plows continue to work on clearing roads.

A record amount of snowfall blanketed the metro on Saturday and Sunday, adding up to 11 inches at the Kansas City International Airport.
