30-year-old woman missing from Kansas City’s Northeast area has been found safe

Update: Rachel Sherman was found and is safe, said Sgt. Phil DiMartino, a police spokesman.

Police are looking for a missing 30-year-old woman who disappeared Sunday evening in Kansas City’s Northeast area, a police spokesperson said.

Rachel Sherman was last seen about 8 p.m. in the Pendleton Heights neighborhood, Officer Alayna Gonzalez with the Kansas City Police Department said.

Sherman needs medication and her family is worried about her, Gonzalez said.

Sherman was described as 5-foot-4 inches tall and about 120 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans, Converse shoes and glasses.

Anyone who knows Sherman’s whereabouts is asked to call the Kansas City Police Department’s missing persons section at 816-234-5043.
