Man pulled from Missouri River was OK

Passersby saw a man in jean shorts straddling a log in the Missouri River and summoned help about 11:15 a.m. Saturday.

The incident between the Heart of America and Bond bridges ended well. The man was pulled to shore and wasn’t injured. He was believed to have slipped while wading into the river.
