Investigators rule ‘suspicious’ death in Kansas City, Kansas, to be an overdose

A man whose body was found in a vehicle along Kindelberger Road in Kansas City, Kansas, Monday morning died by overdose, a police spokesman said.

Police were called to the 400 block of Kindelberger Road around 8 a.m. to investigate the death, after a body was found in a parked vehicle.

After an autopsy, investigators ruled the death to be by overdose, said Officer T.J. Tomasic, a spokesperson for the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department, in a news release sent out Wednesday.

Police originally described the death as “suspicious” and said there were no obvious signs of trauma on the body.
