Taylor Swift has made it clear from the beginning of her membership in Chiefs Kingdom that she doesn’t know when TV cameras are showing her during Chiefs games.

But when they do, her fans love it. (Fans of opposing teams? Not so much. And Sunday her detractors were especially loud on social media.)

Swifties joined Swift in celebrating her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, who scored a touchdown in the second quarter of Sunday’s NFL game against the Denver Broncos at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. It was his second touchdown of the season and his 76th career touchdown catch.

The grab tied Kelce with Tony Gonzalez for the most touchdown receptions in team history.

The fact that Swift was there in person to see it was not lost on CBS announcer Kevin Harlan, who exclaimed: “There it is! The all-time Chiefs leading touchdown receiver! From Mahomes! That will give you something to sing about.”

CBS cameras showed Swift applauding the play from a suite, where she watched the game with her parents, Andrea Swift and Scott Swift.

“Yeah she is happy,” one of her fans tweeted on X.

“And we conveniently get to see Travis Kelce score a record-breaking TD with Taylor Swift in attendance. Just electric stuff,” tweeted sportscaster Stephen Igoe.

(Though we suspect his comment might have been dripping with sarcasm.)

“Taylor Swift winning awards while Travis Kelce is catching TDs just feel right,” tweeted one Swiftie, likely referencing the Grammy nominations Swift just snagged on Friday.
