Missing 87-year-old Kansas City Kansas woman located safe Saturday night
Update: Janice Marie Charles was located safe Saturday night.
The Kansas City Kansas Police Department issued a Silver Alert for a missing 87-year-old woman last seen leaving her home Friday morning.
Charles was last seen in the 1900 block of North 30th Street in Kansas City Kansas’ Northwest neighborhood, according to KCKPD. She is approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs around 105 pounds. She has gray hair cropped short.
She was last seen wearing purple leggings, black shoes and possibly a black jacket, police said.
Charles has a medical condition that puts her at risk and the family is concerned for her safety.
