One teen was killed and three others were injured in a crash in rural Johnson County, Missouri, Friday evening, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

Turner R. George, 18, of Warrensburg, was driving a 2004 Dodge pickup on Southwest 271st Road north of Southwest 1200th Road just before 9 p.m., when he lost control of the vehicle while accelerating through a curve, the crash report said.

The pickup truck left the road, went into a ditch, overturned and struck a fence, according to the report.

Paramedics responded, and a coroner pronounced George dead at the scene. Three other teenage passengers suffered minor injuries and refused medical treatment at the scene.

George’s body was transported to the Johnson County Coroner’s Office.
