5-year-old abducted by father from Wichita home, police say. Amber Alert issued
Update: Trevawn Strong Jr. and Sr. have both been located by law enforcement. The child is unharmed and the Amber Alert has been canceled.

An Amber Alert has been issued in the Kansas City area as police search for a 5-year-old who was abducted from his home in Wichita.
Trevawn Strong Jr. was forcibly taken by his father, Trevawn Strong Sr., during a domestic incident at the child’s Wichita residence just before 5 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Wichita Police Department.
Strong abducted the child from his mother’s custody at gunpoint, police said.
Strong left the home at 2025 S Grove St. in a vehicle, but the car has since been found empty in the 1900 block of N. Woodlawn Street in Wichita, according to police.
Trevawn Strong Jr. is a Black child with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, black shorts and black shoes, according to police.
The father is a 30-year-old Black man with long hair and tattoos, who was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and gray shorts, according to police.
