A man was arrested after he allegedly exposed himself to a woman near Hobby Hill Park in Gladstone, police said.

Hector G. Ramirez, 22, of Gladstone, was arrested Tuesday and charged with first-degree sexual misconduct in Clay County Circuit Court.

Last weekend, officers responded to multiple reports about a suspicious person at Hobby Hill Park, police said in a news release. The alleged incidents included one report of a man exposing himself to a woman walking in the area.

Detectives conducted an undercover operation that led to the arrest of Ramirez, police said in the news release. Ramirez entered a not guilty plea Aug. 28 and is due back in court 1:30 p.m. Oct. 3.

Investigators believe there may be more victims and witnesses in the Northland. If anyone has information about the case or other incidents possibly involving Ramirez, they should contact the Gladstone Police Department at 816-436-3550 or the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
