Kansas City’s Westport is the premier hipster neighborhood in Missouri, a recent post by the website “Thrillist” says.

The website, known for its listicles ranking cities, foods and attractions across the U.S., issued the judgement in a post Saturday called “The Brooklyn of Every State.”

Using metrics such as trendy restaurants, "craft" cocktail bars, bike friendliness and urban expansion, the list sought to identify the most millennial-friendly and gentrified neighborhoods in each of the 50 states.

The authors gave a nod to Cherokee Street in St. Louis, but ultimately handed the title to Westport, noting its primacy as an entertainment district and varied dining choices.

Port Fonda at 4141 Pennsylvania Ave. was singled out for its Mexican-style food while Dave’s Stagecoach Inn, at 316 Westport Road, received mention for its drinking atmosphere. Westport’s local music, retail, and coffee businesses apparently helped seal the deal.

In Kansas, the Delano neighborhood in Wichita made the list.
