Man killed in Grandview, possibly on July Fourth weekend: Police

Grandview police are investigating a homicide that took place in the area of 140th Street and Dunoon Street.

Police have identified the victim as Kansas City resident Kevin McMillian, according to Sgt. G. H. Gilbert, a spokesperson for the Grandview Police Department.

The death may have taken place over the holiday weekend. As of Monday afternoon, the Grandview Police Department have declined to share further details about the location, manner or possible motive of the homicide.

McMillian’s age is also not known at this time. Grandview police are soliciting information about McMillian’s death through Greater Kansas City Crime Stoppers.
