Man missing for nearly a week from Kansas City’s Northland found and reported safe

Update: Police said Tuesday morning that David Yak was found and is safe.

Police are asking the public for helping finding a missing 21-year-old man last seen Wednesday in Kansas City’s Northland.

David Yak was last seen around 7:30 a.m. in the area of North Sycamore Avenue and Northeast 108th Terrace wearing an orange shirt and gray sweatpants.

Yak is 6 feet and 7 inches tall and weighs around 285 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair.

Loved ones believe Yak is without his medications and are concerned about his well-being.

Anyone who sees him or knows of his whereabouts should call 911 or the missing persons unit at 816-234-5043.
