Guests were cleared from the Hollywood Casino in Kansas City, Kansas, on Friday evening after someone called 911 claiming they were suicidal and had an explosive device in a restroom at the casino, police said.

Emergency dispatchers received the call around 7:30 p.m., said Nancy Chartrand, a spokeswoman for the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department. Police swept the bathrooms at the casino and found nothing, she said.

“We don’t believe there is a credible threat currently at the casino,” Chartrand said Friday evening.

Officials with the Kansas Racing and Gaming Commission, which has jurisdiction over the casino, decided to conduct another search and clear the site, Chartrand said.
