Freezing temperatures rolled in Wednesday in the Kansas City area following multiple days of record high temperatures.

The sudden drop caused poor road conditions in some areas and delayed school openings. The Star will update this list with delays in the area.

These schools announced a two-hour delay Wednesday:

  • Kearney School District
  • Platte County R3 School District
