Update: Police said Mohamed Abdi Mohamed has been found and is safe.

Kansas City police are asking for help finding a missing 28-year-old man who said he may hurt himself.

Mohamed Abdi Mohamed was last seen in the 3400 block of Northwest 71st Terrace wearing a red Under Armour hoodie, khaki pants and glasses. He left the area in a black 2007 Toyota Camry.

Before he left, Mohamed said he was suicidal. The reporting party told police they were very concerned for his safety.

Anyone who sees Mohamed or knows of his whereabouts should call 911 immediately or the missing persons unit at 816-234-5043.
