National Weather Service ALCS forecast: ‘Royal blue skies’
It appears some of the meteorologists with the local offices of the National Weather Service are Royals fans — and they’re not hiding it.
The forecast for Wednesday calls for abundant sunshine and “Royal blue skies.” It adds that absolutely beautiful mid-October weather will dominate the rest of the work week.

Even a graphic accompanying the forecast says, “Royal Blue Skies Sweep In!”
It includes a broom for Wednesday, giving a not-so-subtle nod that the Royals would sweep the series against the Baltimore Orioles with a win in Wednesday afternoon’s ALCS game.
Highs Wednesday are expected to reach near 70 degrees with northwest winds of 10 to 15 mph.
A “gorgeous day for outside activities,” according to the National Weather Service.
