Police search continues for 28-year-old man missing since May in Kansas City
Kansas City police are continuing to search for a 28-year-old man last seen in May.
Timothy Blake last contacted his family on May 3, and his last location isn’t known. His family is very concerned for his well-being.
Blake is 5 feet and 5 inches tall and weighs around 130 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
Police previously found Blake’s car, a silver Ford Five Hundred sedan with Missouri plates EJ6R2H, but there’s been no sign of Blake.
Anyone who sees Blake or knows of his whereabouts should call the missing persons unit at 816-234-5043.
A GoFundMe to create a reward for information on Blake’s location has raised $400 as of Wednesday.
Blake is one of 13 siblings who is close with his family and would normally never miss a family function or go a day without talking to family, his family wrote on GoFundMe. Since he disappeared, Blake has missed Mother’s Day, his sister’s graduation and his brother’s wedding.
Family said Blake had substance abuse issues and had been in and out of recovery programs, rehabs and sober-living homes. He had celebrated nine months of sobriety before he was reported missing.
“We miss our brother so incredibly much, and our parents are heartbroken,” family said.
