A motorcycle driver has life-threatening injuries after a crash ejected them from their vehicle Saturday night in Kansas City.

Officers responded around 10:12 p.m. to the two-vehicle collision in the 4700 block of Coal Mine Road, said Officer Alayna Gonzalez, a spokeswoman for the Kansas City Police Department.

A white Kawasaki motorcycle was traveling south on Coal Mine at a high speed, when a white Hyundai made a U-turn in front of it. The motorcycle driver was ejected after striking the Hyundai.

The motorcycle driver was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver and two-year-old passenger in the Hyundai were not injured.
