Update: Police said Sunday morning that Joseph Vura has been found and is safe.

Kansas City police are asking for help finding a missing 36-year-old man last seen Friday.

Joseph Vura was last seen at about 6 p.m. Friday in the 4200 block of Locust Street, near Robert Gillham Park.

He takes medication and those who contacted police are “concerned about his well being if he does not get it,” police said in a news release Saturday afternoon.

Vura has brown eyes, brown hair, and was last seen wearing a red shirt, blue shorts and white tennis shoes, police said.

Anyone who sees Vura or knows of his whereabouts is asked to call KCPD’s Missing Persons Unit at 816-234-5043.

No other information was immediately available.
