Bicyclist critically injured in Kansas City wreck. Investigation ongoing, police say
A bicyclist was critically injured in a Kansas City crash Friday evening, police say.
Around 8:12 p.m., officers responded to a collision on East Truman Road and The Paseo.
Investigators determined that the cyclist was traveling east on Truman when a Volkswagen turning left struck them, according to a statement from the Kansas City Police Department.
The cyclist was transported to a hospital in critical condition.
The driver and three juvenile passengers of the Volkswagen were uninjured in the crash.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
